Introducing the Toronto Operetta Theatre

Young Artist Development Program

Join TOT in the advancement of our Young Artists.

Your donations and assistance makes all the difference in the world.

Toronto Operetta Theatre has been instrumental in the advancement of young artists pursuing training opportunities, stage experience and expansion of repertoire in the field of Operetta and Music Theatre. Our company often is the first experience young singers will have of a professional stage, giving much needed opportunities for emerging talent on their way to international careers. TOT's artists receive coaching sessions with Conductors, Music Directors and Stage Directors. Training session in preparation of roles including style, elocution, diction and stage deportment. Special attention during staging and music rehearsals is paid to nurturing artistic progress and facilitating an organic and natural development leading towards the performance period. Our Young Artists are given special opportunities as featured soloists in concerts and special events. TOT is interested in helping these artists obtain entry into the professional arena whenever possible with recommendations and training in marketing and promotional matters of importance to their advancement.
