Alyssa Bartholomew is a versatile soprano known for her high extension and precise coloratura. Her notable roles include Le Feu in L'enfant et les Sortilèges (The Glenn Gould School), Gretel in Hansel and Gretel (Western Opera), Flora in The Turn of the Screw (Grand River Opera), and Sister Constance in Dialogues of the Carmelites (Summer Opera Lyric Theatre). She is currently covering Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberflöte (The Glenn Gould School).
Alyssa earned her Bachelor of Music from Western University and has trained at programs such as the Canadian Opera Company’s Summer Opera Intensive, Songfest, and Stratford Summer Music’s Vocal Academy. She is pursuing her Artist Diploma at the Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory, studying with Stephanie Bogle and David Eliakis.
