Elizabeth Beeler
With over 30 years in performing arts, Elizabeth has worked as an actor, singer, director, writer, freelance coach, and teacher. TOT audiences will remember her performances in DIE FLEDERMAUS, PIRATES OF PENZANCE, THE CHOCOLATE SOLDIER and title roles in THE MERRY WIDOW, COUNTESS MARITZA, and the forceful Lisa Elliot in LADY IN THE DARK. Her directing credits include THE MUSIC MAN, ANNE OF GREEN GABLES and GUYS AND DOLLS. Original casts of the Toronto LES MISERABLES, ASPECTS of LOVE, SHOWBOAT (T.O./NYC), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and JANE EYRE. Her choreography for the Oakville Children’s and The Hamilton Children’s Choirs have received international recognition in Los Angeles and Madrid. Recently, The Beggar Woman in SWEENEY TODD at Edmonton’s Citadel Theatre, Countess Stasi in THE GYPSEY PRINCESS, Ruth in PIRATES OF PENZANCE, assistant director on LUISA FERNANDA, The Old Woman in CANDIDE and Prince Orlovsky in DIE FLEDERMAUS.
