Marcus Tranquilli

Marcus has been singing since he was in elementary school, and graduated from Western University (June 2024) with a Master’s of Literature and Performance in Voice. His most recent performances were with Summer Opera Lyric Theatre, as Arsamenes in Xerxes, Benoit and Alcindoro in La Boheme. His previous performances include The Mayor in Western’s production of Albert Herring, Flaminio in La Musica Lirica’s 2023 Production of Il Trionfo dell’Onore, and covering Dr. Caius in their production of Falstaff. He has performed with Sarah Brightman in the choir for her Christmas Symphony tour last year. He performed with Chorus Niagara under the direction of Robert Cooper for 3 years as a Choral Scholar. Detlef will be the first role of his professional career in Toronto.
